Exchange-student program looking for host families
AFS Intercultural Program is looking for local families to host high school students, starting in August.
AFS recruits students, 15 to 18 years old, from more than 50 countries to live for a year, semester or summer in the U.S.
Host families may be traditional or single-parent homes, with or without children, and must be able to provide a bed, food and guidance. Host families will receive support from AFS, including counseling and orientation.
The program also places 1,600 American teens with exchange families in 45 countries.
