Flint Center hosts March 24 district music concert
The Flint Center at De Anza College will hold a Fremont Union High School District music concert on March 24 at 4 p.m. The districtwide concert is called Spirit of America. Students from all five high schools--Cupertino, Fremont, Homestead, Lynbrook and Monta Vista--will perform choir, concert band, orchestra and symphonic band. Guest conductor Jung-Ho Pak, conductor and artistic director of the San Diego Symphony and Lynbrook High School graduate, class of 1980, will make an appearance. All proceeds will support the music programs at all five high schools.

Historical Society holds a membership meeting
The Cupertino Historical Society and Museum will hold a membership meeting on March 26 at 7:30 p.m. The meeting will feature a presentation by Mike Eckley, "Noble Grand Humbug," and Pat Sweeney, current Noble Grand Humbug of "The Ancient and Honorable Order of E Clampus Vitus."
The meeting begins with a potluck at 6:30 p.m. for those who wish to participate. The program begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Cupertino Room inside the Quinlan Community Center, located at 10185 North Stelling Road.
West Valley Church holds Easter singalong
The West Valley Presbyterian Church will hold a singalong on March 24 and 25 at 7 p.m. Participants can sing along to Handel's Messiah, accompanied by a full, 40-piece orchestra. Those interested can celebrate the Easter season by singing popular G. F. Handel Easter music.
The event is free but tickets are required. Tickets are available by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to the church with the dates and number of tickets requested.
