Sheriff's Report

The following incidents were culled from reports filed by deputies at the Sheriff's Westside Substation.

Residential burglary--March 24, 7:50 p.m., 10200 block of Parish Place. Someone pried open a sliding glass door and entered a house. Several items were missing, including a video camera worth $700 and a pair of stereo headphones worth $110.

Burglary--March 27, 10 p.m., 21370 Homestead Road. Suspects entered an unlocked storage shed at Homestead High School. They removed a golf cart and drove around the campus and athletic fields in it. Another suspect followed them in a car. The storage shed had a cabinet that appeared to have been searched.

Burglary--March 29, 10:45 a.m., 20400 block of Pacifica Drive. A victim reported that his medical office had been burglarized. Someone broke a window on the north side of the office and entered into the building. Most of the items stolen were used for medical purposes; they were valued at approximately $20,000. It was the second office in the complex to be burglarized that weekend.

Vandalism--March 29, 5:45 p.m., 1170 Yorkshire Drive. The principal at Regnart Elementary School reported that a door to the principal's office had been vandalized. The window on the door was broken, but no entry was made into the office, and no other damage was found at the school.

Burglary--March 29, 11:29 p.m., 11000 block of De Anza Boulevard. Two unidentified suspects threw a rock through a plate-glass window of a closed gas station. The suspects walked into the store and walked behind the counter. When the alarm sounded, one suspect could be seen running back out through the window. It was unknown if anything was taken.
