    Sheriff's Report

    The following incidents were culled from reports filed by deputies at the sheriff's Westside Substation.

    Residential Burglary--May 2, 7:45 a.m., 10100 block of Parkwood Drive. Someone entered the residence through a patio door and took a wallet, a bag and a briefcase.

    Assault with a Deadly Weapon--May 1, 8 p.m., 21200 block of Stevens Creek Boulevard. The suspect played tennis beyond her allotted time, then assaulted the victim with her tennis racquet when she asked for her turn.

    Residential Burglary--May 4, 9:10 a.m., 800 block of S. Stelling Road. An acquaintance pried open the victim's bedroom window and stole several items. The suspect is still at large.

    Auto Theft--May 2, 7 p.m., 21200 block of Stevens Creek Boulevard. A Honda Accord was stolen from a local community college parking lot.

    Peeping in a Bathroom--May 3, 6:25 p.m., 10600 block of S. De Anza Boulevard. A building inspector discovered two holes cut in a vent pipe overlooking the women's restroom at a restaurant. There are no suspects at this time.

    Residential Burglary--May 2, 3:20 p.m., 10200 block of S. Tantau Avenue. An unknown suspect entered through a window, took coins from a child's bedroom. There have been two prior burglaries at the residence where handguns have been taken.

    Commercial Burglary--May 2, 12:50 p.m., 20500 block of Stevens Creek Boulevard. Two suspects concealed $6,900 of golf clubs under their clothes and exited the store without paying.

    Commercial Burglary--May 5, 2:27 a.m., 10500 block of N. De Anza Boulevard. An unknown suspect broke the window at a computer retailer and took three Apple laptops valued at $8,000.
