    Sheriff's Report

    The following incidents were culled from reports filed by deputies at the sheriff's Westside Substation.

    Vandalism--May 18, 8:40 a.m., 10700 block of Minette Drive. The victim parked her car in her driveway. The next day she found eggs and debris on the tailgate of her truck. This is the third time the victim's truck has been vandalized. There is no suspect or witness information.

    Forgery/Theft by Credit Card--May 17, 3 p.m., 10100 block of N. Wolfe Road. Someone tried to use a stolen credit card to purchase cell phones at a local store. Security and employees notified the sheriff's office. That person was taken into custody. While searching her purse, multiple forms of identification, checks and a stolen credit card were discovered.

    Petty Theft--May 15, 8:25 p.m., 11100 block of S. Stelling Road. The victim reported that both the front and rear license plates from his car were stolen. He believes they were taken while his car was parked in front of his house.

    Petty Theft--May 14, 11:20 a.m., 10200 block of S. De Anza Boulevard. The unknown suspect(s) stole a solid iron bench from the patio area of a local deli-cafe. The patio area was locked and all tables and chairs were chained together except for the bench. Its estimated cost is around $80.

    Petty Theft--May 12, 9:40 p.m., 22800 block of Longdown Drive. The victim held an open house with her Realtor. When she arrived home in the afternoon, she noticed some prescription medications were missing from her bathroom. There are no leads or suspect information.
