    Amigos program promotes students' understanding of other countries

    Local high school juniors and seniors develop leadership skills, promote health conditions in developing Latin American communities


    Amigos students work in small communities on projects such as building latrines and educating about health and sanitation, home improvement, crop storage and teaching children to read. Monte Vista High School student Craig Harrison volunteered to help promote community health in Ecuador.   More
