Every city should be so lucky. With three candidates for two spots on this year's ballot, voters are bound to get a qualified candidate regardless of who wins. Candidates Richard Lowenthal, Orrin Mahoney and incumbent Michael Chang all boast considerable and relevant experience with city government and several community organizations. All are well-organized, soft- spoken and seemingly egoless in their separate bids for city government. Which leaves voters with a decision that's both easy and difficult, depending on how you look at it.
