The Cupertino CourierSheriff's ReportThe following incidents were culled from reports filed by deputies at the Sheriff's Westside Substation. Illegal Dumping--Oct. 10, 4 p.m. A man said someone deposited large quantities of paint and other hazardous materials at his construction site, located on the 10600 block of S. De Anza Boulevard. There are no suspects. Grand Theft--Oct. 5, 12 p.m. An unknown person entered a woman's unlocked vehicle, which was parked in an open carport behind her residence located on the 10100 block of Miller Avenue. The suspect took music CDs, money, a checkbook and a video game CD. Grand Theft/Vandalism--Oct. 5, 9:15 a.m. A man had his car parked along the street by his house on the 10300 block of Tantau Avenue, when unknown suspects cut the top and sides of his convertible top open. Once inside, they took a black leather jacket and a pair of gold-rimmed sunglasses. The items are estimated to be worth $650. Residential Burglary--Oct. 5, 2 a.m. An unknown suspect entered a home located on the 21500 block of Mission Way and stole numerous items of women's clothing. The suspect left behind other items of value, but stole four pairs of Fila tennis shoes and a pair of leather boots.
