    Residents debate issues with council

    Locals voice opinions on site new library site, proposed pedestrian bridge over Highway 280


    The Cupertino City Council took the next steps toward proceeding with two large projects at its Dec. 4 meeting. In a unanimous vote the council approved the site recommendation for the new $22 million library building. Members also commissioned a feasibility study of the proposed bicycle/pedestrian bridge that would link both sides of Mary Avenue across Highway 280. Many residents came to the meeting to voice their opinions on the issues.   More
