After the Sept. 11 attacks, bravery and courage have taken on a whole new level of meaning for 11-year-old Serena Lee. In fact, the heroic actions of firefighters, police officers and soldiers risking their lives to rebuild hope and protect America inspired Lee to compose A Challenge of Life—a color pencil drawing of parachuters—which received honorable mention at the eighth annual Growing Up Asian in America essay and art contest.  More

Task Force Oversight Committee St. Jude's
