Cupertino Coin Club holds kids event in upcoming show
The Cupertino Coin Club will hold the Kids' Treasure Hunt during the Santa Clara Coin, Stamp & Collectibles Expo on Nov. 22, 23 and 24 at the Santa Clara Convention Center.
In addition to the Cupertino event, which takes place 11 a.m.3 p.m. on Nov. 23, the exposition will exhibit one of the world's most valuable rare coins—a 1913 Liberty Head nickel valued at $3 million—for the first time in Northern California. There will also be two educational seminars about buying and selling on eBay, an exhibit of early U.S. silver dollars and a public sale of rare coins and paper money.

Local artist opens up studio for public viewing
Cupertino artist Kathy Fujii-Oka will be opening her studio to the public 11 a.m.5p.m. on Nov. 16 and 17. The studio is located at 1341 Aster Drive. The show is part of Peninsula Open Studios, an event sponsored by the World Council for Arts and Culture organization in Mountain View. During this free event, artists from many Bay Area cities will open their studios and show off their artworks.

Armenian Ethnic Food Fair comes to Cupertino
St. Andrew Armenian Church of Cupertino is hosting its annual Armenian Ethnic Food Fair on Nov. 16. There will be traditional Armenian cuisine, such as kebabs, rice pilaf, cheese boureg and grape leaf sarma. In addition, there will be live music, folk dancing and other activities.
The fair is scheduled to take place 11 a.m.6 p.m. at St. Andrew Armenian Church of Cupertino, 11370 S. Stelling Road. Both admission and parking are free.
