Little League District 44 has baseball and softball sign-ups scheduled in the upcoming weeks. Leagues are open to players ages 5­18, and all players must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, provide a birth certificate and reside within league boundaries to register. Proof of residency is also required.

Upper division age groups include junior teams for ages 13­14, senior teams for ages 15­16 and Big League teams for ages
17­18.

Registration for T-ball is open, at the option of each local league, to youngsters who reach age 5 on or before July 31.

District 44 also offers the Challenger Division for physically and mentally disabled youngsters, ages 7­17. Registration is free for the league, which runs from March to June and players can register through any district league during the sign-up period.
