AYSO sign-ups

Cupertino AYSO Region 35 will hold soccer registration for the fall season on May 3, 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., at the Creekside Recreation Center, 10455 Miller Ave. The program is open to players ages 41/2 and up, and the fee is $98 per player. For more information, visit http://www.ayso35.org.


Local track meet

Bethel Lutheran School of Cupertino will host its fourth annual invitational track and field meet on May 3, 9 a.m., on the Cupertino High School track. The meet is open to children in the first through sixth grades. For more information, call 408.252.8512, ext. 118.


Golf for Kaitlyn

A golf tournament to benefit Kaitlyn Langstaff and her family will be held May 5 with a 1 p.m. shotgun start at the Silver Creek Country Club. The entry fee of $150 includes green fees, a golf cart and lunch.

Raffle prizes include a signed San Jose Sharks jersey, a hockey stick autographed by Teemu Selanne, a one-night star at Cordevalle, a round of golf for four at Silver Creek, gift certificates at Maggiano Little Italy in Santana Row and at Steamers in Los Gatos and much more.

All proceeds from the tournament go to Kaitlyn and the Langstaff family. Kaitlyn is the Saratoga 9-year-old who suffers from toxic epidermal necrolysis, a severe form of Stevens Johnson Syndrome.
