Sheriff's Report
The following incidents were culled from reports filed by deputies at the sheriff's Westside Substation.

Sexual Assault—May 20, 10:30 a.m., Blaney Avenue. A woman was pushing a baby stroller on her way home on Blaney Avenue near Somerset Drive when a man grabbed her from behind. After rubbing his hands over her breasts and buttocks, he fled the scene. This man appears to be the same person that struck other female victims on five different occasions—three of them took place on May 16 in Cupertino and San Jose and the other two times in March. A police sketch artist has completed a sketch of the man involved with the assaults and is working with the new victims on a new sketch. According to the sheriff, it appears that the man may have grown some facial hair since the March attacks and now has a mustache and a goatee. Residents can see the sketch in the album titled "Wanted" at http://photos.yahoo.com/cupertinopolice.

Petty Theft from a Vehicle—May 14, 1 a.m., Presidio Drive. A resident saw two males wearing sweatshirts with the hoods up and gloves looking into parked vehicles on his street. They took a bag out of his neighbor's pickup truck and in the bushes began searching through the bag. The two males, who took several items from the victim's vehicle, left the area before the victim was notified and called 911.

Storage Shed Burglary—May 14, overnight, Rainbow Drive. An unknown person pried open a locked storage shed on Rainbow Drive and stole tools, smoke detectors and keys.

Grand Theft from an Auto—May 14, overnight, Loree Avenue. An unknown person stole more than $700 worth of tools that were left in the open bed of a pickup truck parked on Loree Avenue.

Auto Burglary—May 11, overnight, Parkwood Drive. An unknown person entered a parked and locked vehicle by "punching" the door lock. The person stole an in-dash stereo/CD player and subwoofer.
