Jim Oberhofer connects with other ham operators during the 5th Annual Field Day at Memorial Park. He is a member of CARES (Cupertino Amateur Radio Emergency Service) a back up communications program that swings into action during emergencies. Eighteen members participated in the field day setup, operations, and teardown activities.
