The following incidents were culled from reports filed by deputies at the sheriff's Westside Substation.
Drunk in Public—Feb. 15, 10:45 a.m., Homestead Road. A woman was found sitting in a white Honda in a church parking lot. She was intoxicated and could not walk or stand without help and was not sure where she was. The church let her use the restroom and gave her several cups of coffee. The woman said she would just stay with her car and the church called the sheriff's office. The woman said she had gotten to the church at 8 p.m. the previous night and had drunk three quarters of a bottle of vodka.
Vandalism—Feb. 15, 8:30 a.m., Longdown Road. An unknown person threw an egg at the victim's house. The egg hit the garage door and dried on it. The victim's house was previously egged two years ago. There are no leads.
Repeated Phone Calls—Feb. 14, 10:50 p.m., Hyde Avenue. A woman had been calling a man for the last six weeks. She called or sent text messages to him 10 times a day. He asked her repeatedly to stop calling him. He called the police on Feb. 10 and had them advise her to stop calling him, but she sent a text message to him Feb. 14. A deputy officer called the woman, who she said she would not stop calling him. The man wanted the woman to be prosecuted for the phone calls. The officer found the woman down the street from the man's house and arrested her. She was transported to the main jail, where she again called the man.
Battery—Feb. 14, 1:45 p.m., James Town Drive. A man and his son got into an argument. The son pushed the father and caused small scratches on his father's left hand and left ankle.
