Who's coming back until
they get what they want?
The first letter to the editor in the Feb. 18 issue of the Courier is titled "T-shirts will be back until they get what they want," implying that it is the people who wore the "Save Our City" T-shirts at city council meetings concerning the Regis development at the Oaks.
However, if you read Mr. Carlisle's letter, he is referring to the developer, Regis, as the one coming back until they get what they want.
In the last paragraph Mr. Carlisle says, "They [Regis] will lobby the council constantly and with any luck for them that longtime friend of Mayor James might just move out, and I think she can be counted on as a sure yes vote for redoing the Oaks shopping center."
I think a correction to the title is in order. It should have read "Developers will be back until they get what they want."
Thanks for being accurate.
