Mason Razavi, son of Hossein Razavighods of Cupertino, has achieved dean's list status in his first semester at the Berklee College of Music in Boston.

A 2001 graduate of Monta Vista High School, Razavi enrolled in Berklee's prestigious program after two years at De Anza College.

He is studying guitar and piano and majoring in jazz composition.
