The following incidents were culled from reports filed by deputies at the sheriff's Westside Substation.
Burglary—May 23, 3:30 p.m., N. Wolfe Road. A juvenile was discovered in Vallco Shopping Center with a stolen bathing suit. A search of the girl's bag showed a variety of women's lingerie that had also been taken from a store within the mall. She was cited and released to her mother.
Stolen Vehicle/Burglary From a Residence—May 23, 9:15 a.m. Alpine Drive. An unknown individual entered an unlocked garage and stole a set of keys from a workbench. The person then stole the truck that was parked in the driveway of the residence. The person fled in the vehicle in an unknown direction and is still at large.
Burglary/Forgery/Fraud with Credit Card/Burglary Tools—May 22, 5:30 p.m., N. Wolfe Road at Vallco Parkway. A man parked his vehicle in a handicapped stall at Vallco Shopping Center and used stolen credit cards to purchase $400 worth of gift certificates. An investigation of the man's car turned up a loaded semiautomatic pistol, bolt cutters and the cut padlock from the locker from which the credit cards were stolen and an AAA card that belonged to another burglary victim.
Petty Theft—May 22, 3:40 p.m., Homestead Road. A juvenile stole a shirt and a wallet from a retail store. The value of the stolen goods was $26.98. The suspect was cited and released.
Missing Juvenile—May 22, 9:15 a.m., Pruneridge Avenue. A male juvenile ran away from home after an argument with his father. His whereabouts are unknown.
