The following incidents were culled from reports filed by deputies at the sheriff's Westside Substation.
Vandalism—June 6, 7:20 p.m., N. Stelling Road. A 16-year-old foster child allegedly damaged a bedroom door by kicking it. His foster mother wanted the juvenile arrested for vandalism. He was transported to the Children's Shelter to avoid further conflicts.
Missing Juvenile—June 6, 1:20 a.m., Steeplechase Drive. A sheriff's deputy responded to a report of a missing juvenile. The girl had an argument with her mother and ran out of her house. Her mother called in the report after waiting for her daughter for an hour. The girl's destination was unknown.
Petty Theft, Theft by Credit Card—June 5, 9:40 p.m., S. De Anza Boulevard. After misplacing a wallet containing her driver's license and credit cards, a woman returned to the business where she left it to find it missing. The credit cards were later used to make a purchase at a nearby Home Depot. After that. attempts to make purchases were unsuccessful. The unknown suspects are at large.
Burglary (Commercial)—June 5, 4:40 p.m., Stevens Creek Boulevard. After entering a retail store, an individual took eight pairs of blue jeans and placed them in a mesh bag. He placed the bag under a sales rack near the door, then he exited the store and drove his vehicle up to the door. The suspect re-entered the store and took the mesh bag. The vehicle has been identified, but the suspect is unidentified and remains at large.
