Sheriff's Report
The following incidents were culled from reports filed by deputies at the sheriff's Westside Substation.

Found Property—Nov. 7, 10:40 a.m., Rosemarie Place. A woman found various boxes of ammunition—for a rifle, pistol and shotgun—in her backyard. The ammunition was contained within a small camera case inside a brown paper bag and covered by a clear plastic bag, which was found inside a large plastic storage tube. The woman does not know who placed the ammunition in her storage container. The property was taken to the West Valley Substation for transportation to the sheriff's office headquarters, where it was to be destroyed.

Vandalism—Nov. 7, 1:05 p.m., Bollinger Road. A school district security guard spotted vandalism to a large gray storage container located on the west end of a school campus. An unknown person had tagged the container with black spray paint, and the guard estimated the damage at $100. It is unknown whether the lettering was affiliated with any gang activity. Photos of the tagging have been submitted for investigation.

Found Property—Nov. 6, 10:15 a.m., Los Ondas Way. A woman observed a bicycle standing in the roadway across the street from her home for two days. The bicycle was placed into storage at the West Valley Substation. There are no known witnesses for who abandoned the bicycle.

Annoy Minor—Nov. 5, 2:00 p.m., S. De Anza Boulevard at Silverado Drive. A 16-year-old girl reported that a 55-year-old man left a suggestive note on her vehicle, asking her to call him. The girl notified the assistant principal of her school, who notified the Sheriff's Department.
