The following incidents were culled from reports filed by deputies at the sheriff's Westside Substation.
Burglary (Business)—Nov. 14, 7:30 a.m., Bubb Road. An unknown person(s) broke the front glass door of a business, entered and pried open the cash register and took approximately $250 and then took two portable dead battery jumper units. No suspects have been identified.
Burglary—Nov. 13, 10:25 a.m., Stevens Creek Boulevard. A person entered the store with a bag to conceal merchandise, took property valued at $25.74 and then left the store. The suspect was arrested and booked into the main jail without incident.
Petty Theft—Nov. 13, 5:30 p.m., Stevens Creek Boulevard. A woman walked to the corner of a toy department and put a four-piece set of pajamas valued at $19.99, two pairs of children's socks, valued at $1.99 each and one women's sweater valued at $8.99 into her purse. She paid for some items at the check out but not for the items concealed in her purse. The woman was arrested and booked without incident.
Assault and Battery—Nov. 13, 10:00 p.m., Las Ondas Way. A man and a woman had an argument. The woman grabbed the man's neck and the man grabbed the woman's wrist with one hand and her ankle with another. She punched him several times on the torso and he pulled her ankle and caused her to fall on her back. He punched her a couple of times on her arm. She kicked and punched him several more times. He had redness to his neck and left arm. She had redness to her left wrist. It is undetermined who was the primary aggressor.
