Sheriff's Report
The following incidents were culled from reports filed by deputies at the sheriff's Westside Substation.

Permitting Unlicensed Minor to Drive/Responsibility to Verify License—Nov. 21, 2:00 a.m., Kentwood Drive at De Anza Boulevard. A juvenile was caught driving a motor vehicle without a license. He said he drove the family vehicle with permission from his parents, and his parents verified the statement. The three were cited and released on their written promises to appear in court.

Vandalism—Nov. 21, 8:25 a.m., Bret Avenue. While the victim's car was parked overnight on the street in front of his residence, an unknown person(s) threw an approximately five pound rock through the vehicle's rear window. There were no signs of entry into the vehicle, and no personal property was taken. The victim estimated the damage at $250. There were no suspects or leads.

Auto Burglary—Nov. 21, 10:50 a.m., N. Stelling Road. Between 9:15 and 10:20 a.m., an unknown person(s) broke into a vehicle parked in a parking lot and took a viola, a green backpack and an empty leather computer bag. The doors of the vehicle were locked and the items were visible on the floor of the vehicle. There are no suspects.

Missing Person—Nov. 21, 6:20 p.m., Bollinger Road. A man left the place he is living, on foot at approximately 9:30 a.m. and was last seen walking southbound on S. De Anza Boulevard. He told a caretaker that he was walking to Goodwill to buy some books, but had not returned by 6:20 p.m.
