Sheriff's Report
The following incidents were culled from reports filed by deputies at the sheriff's Westside Substation.

Fraudulent Use of Access Card/Petty Theft—Jan. 23, 5:10 p.m., Stevens Creek Boulevard. Unknown person(s) took a change purse containing $109 in cash, two debit cards, three credit cards and a Costco gift card. One of the debit cards was used between 4:46 and 5:15 p.m. to make purchases worth $150, $59.23 and $150 at three different retail locations.

Missing Person—Jan. 23, 1:00 a.m., Ralya Court at Sterling Drive. A couple got into an argument on Jan. 21 over their son's education. The two did not speak to each other the next day. The wife left the house on Jan. 22 at 2 p.m. with a large bag of food and approximately $1,000 in cash. She has not been seen since. Her husband said there has never been domestic violence in their family.

Possession of Dangerous Fireworks—Jan. 22, 12:07 a.m., Judy Avenue at Loree Avenue. A man admitted to having seven "Triple Threat" bottle rockets in his vehicle. A sheriff's deputy searched the vehicle and found the bottle rockets in the glove compartment and on the floorboard. The man was cited and released on his written promise to appear in court.

Found Property—Jan. 22, 8:00 a.m., S. De Anza Boulevard. A sheriff's deputy located a black wallet in the back seat of his patrol vehicle. The wallet, which belonged to a juvenile arrested and transported to his residence in the vehicle, contained $112, several gift cards and pictures. The wallet was booked into the West Valley Substation for safekeeping.
