The following incidents were culled from reports filed by deputies at the sheriff's Westside Substation.
Assault/Battery on School Grounds--April 8, 1:10 p.m., Bollinger Road. Two female juveniles fought on school grounds. Both were charged with assault and battery on school grounds and released to their parents.
Robbery--April 8, 5:30 p.m., S. De Anza Boulevard. An individual took $94.97 in DVDs and exited a store without paying for the items. When confronted outside the store by security guards, the suspect struck a guard, then fled and dropped the DVDs and personal property. Police stopped the person nearby and booked the suspect at the main jail.
Petty Theft--April 8, 5:45 p.m., Stevens Creek Boulevard. An individual took five women's shirts and left a store without paying for them. An officer cited the person for petty theft at the scene.
Fraudulent Bill/Possession of Marijuana for Sale--April 8, 9:08 p.m., Judy Avenue at Stevens Creek Boulevard. An officer stopped a vehicle for speeding on Judy Avenue and detected a strong smell of marijuana. The driver then admitted to providing his three juvenile passengers with marijuana. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed a large bag of marijuana, a container of approximately 16 bags of individually packaged marijuana, a digital scale with marijuana residue and nearly $80 in small bills. Police also found nine counterfeit U.S. $20 bills under the vehicle's rear seat. The driver was booked into the main jail.
