Sheriff's Report
The following incidents were culled from reports filed by deputies at the sheriff's Westside Substation.

Burglary (Residential)--Aug. 12. 10:45 p.m., Cranberry Drive. An unknown person(s) entered a residence through an unlocked rear door. The burglar took jewelry valued at $13,000 from a master bedroom. The individual(s) responsible is at large.

Vandalism--Aug. 12, 8:20 a.m., Candlelight Way. A person used his vehicle to perform stunts on grass parkland and caused more than $400 in damages. Sheriff's officers took the person to the main jail.

Burglary (Residential)--Aug. 11, 8:40 a.m., Rainbow Drive. A person(s) forced entry into three homes under construction and stole sinks, a toilet, a tile cutter, levels and an extension cord. In one home, tile was also taken from a bathroom wall. The individual(s) responsible is still at large.

Vandalism (School)--Aug. 11, 1:23 a.m., McClellan Road. An unknown person(s) broke into a room on the south perimeter of a school and caused an estimated $600-$700 in damages. The individual(s) is still at large.

Grand Theft/Conspiracy--Aug. 10, 4:50 p.m., N. Wolfe Road. Two people stole a woman's purse from a coffee shop and drove off. Witnesses provided police with descriptions of the car and a license plate. The son of the car's owner admitted to the theft.

Found Bicycle--Aug. 10, 4:20 a.m., S. De Anza Boulevard. Someone turned in a blue 12-speed bicycle in poor condition after finding the bicycle in a dirt lot.
