The following incidents were culled from reports filed by deputies at the sheriff's Westside Substation.
Possession of Prescription Drug/Marijuana--Aug. 28, 1:40 a.m., De Anza Boulevard. A sheriff's officer conducted a vehicle enforcement stop. During a consent search, the driver was found in possession of prescription medication without a prescription and less than an ounce of marijuana. The driver was cited and released.
Residential Burglary--Aug. 27, 8:55 p.m., Drake Drive. Someone went to a backyard, removed a window screen from a home and pushed open an unlocked window. The person searched the home and took gold jewelry valued at $12,000.
Stolen Vehicle--Aug. 25, 8:33 p.m., Valley Green Drive. Someone took a locked red Honda from a parking space and is still at large.
Grand Theft--Aug. 25, 9:30 a.m., Valley Green Drive. An individual delivered two laptop computers to a cubicle and placed them on the floor. Someone took the computers.
Return to School After Asked to Leave--Aug. 24, 1:15 p.m., McClellan Road. A school principal warned a man to remain off campus unless he was there on official business. The next day, the man returned without official business, then fled. He is still at large.
Burglary (Auto)--Aug. 23, 8:50 p.m., N. Wolfe Road. An unknown person(s) broke the rear passenger window of a vehicle and stole a laptop computer and other items. In addition to the window, the items are valued at $1,600.
