The following incidents were culled from reports filed by deputies at the sheriff's Westside Substation.
Found Property--Feb. 19, 9:15 a.m., Woodlark Way. A resident found a Schwinn Ranger women's bicycle in his front yard. The man also said his own bicycle had been stolen from his back yard.
Possession of Methamphetamine--Feb. 19, 1:35 a.m., Stevens Creek Boulevard. A sheriff's officer stopped a vehicle for a cracked windshield and noticed the driver had symptoms of being under a stimulant. The driver said there was methamphetamine in his car. He was booked into the main jail.
Burglary (Auto)--Feb. 19, 8:45 a.m., Fallen Leaf Lane. A person broke a driver's side window and took sunglasses and a backpack valued at $520.
Possession of Methamphetamine--Feb. 18, 11:37 a.m., Wolfe Road. A sheriff's officer stopped a driver for a vehicle violation and smelled marijuana. The officer then located marijuana and methamphetamine in the vehicle and booked the driver, who was on probation, into the main jail.
Burglary (Residential)--Feb. 16, 11:28 a.m., Rampart Avenue. Cupertino High School students witnessed a home burglary involving two juveniles and an adult. The burglars forced entry by breaking a window and then took jewelry and a guitar. The persons responsible are at large.
Possession of Illegal Weapons--Feb. 15, 8:22 p.m., Miller Avenue. A sheriff's officer responded to a fight at Creekside Park involving 20 juveniles. The officer stopped a green Volvo attempting to flee the scene. The vehicle contained two individuals with 3-foot-long bamboo sticks.
