The following incidents were culled from reports filed by deputies at the sheriff's Westside Substation.
Burglary (Residential)--Feb. 26, 2:20 a.m., Hazelbrook Court. An unknown person(s) entered a backyard, removed a screen from an unlocked window and entered a residence. The person(s) ransacked the master bedroom and took approximately 10 items of jewelry. The estimated value of the items taken is $95,730. The person(s) responsible is at large.
Petty Theft--Feb. 25, 4:40 p.m., N. Wolfe Road. A 40-year-old woman and her children were at a store. While in a dressing room, the woman concealed items of perfume in a stroller. The woman was cited and released.
Burglary--Feb. 24, 8:30 p.m., Oakville Drive. An unknown person(s) entered a residence and ransacked the master bedroom. No property was taken and the person is at large.
Assault/Battery--Feb. 22, 7:40 p.m., Lockwood Drive. A female juvenile bit the right forearm of a male juvenile. The male then bit the female on the back of her right shoulder. The individuals were cited and released.
Annoying Phone Calls--Feb. 22, 12 p.m., Torre Avenue. A city council member received four messages at her office from the same caller regarding a local building project. The caller, whose identity is unknown, told the council member to leave town and made threats.
Stolen Vehicle/Under the Influence--Feb. 22, 2:50 a.m., Stevens Creek Boulevard. A sheriff's officer stopped a vehicle for a broken taillight. The driver did not have a license, and a passenger displayed symptoms of being under the influence of a stimulant. Both individuals were taken into custody.
