Sheriff's Report

The following incidents were culled from reports filed by deputies at the sheriff's westside substation.

Possession of Lock Picks--July 1, 11:05 p.m., Orange Avenue. A sheriff's officer stopped a vehicle for expired registration. The driver consented to a vehicle search, which yielded lock picks. The officer cited the driver for possession of lock picks and released him.

Possession of Methamphetamine/Cocaine--June 30, 7:05 p.m., Franco Court. A sheriff's officer stopped a vehicle for a missing front plate. The officer also saw a crystal substance on the driver's lap. A search of the vehicle yielded methamphetamine and cocaine. The officer arrested the driver on charges of possession.

Disrupt School--June 29, 8:40 a.m., Finch Avenue. A male under the influence followed a female student onto a school campus. The male entered a classroom with students inside. The male then acted bizarrely, causing the students to flee. The male was booked into the main jail.

Possession of Methamphetamine--June 28, 11:58 p.m., N. Stelling Road. A sheriff's officer stopped a vehicle for a cracked windshield. The driver displayed symptoms of stimulant use and was also in possession of drug paraphernalia. The officer booked the woman into the main jail. As she exited the patrol car, she also dropped a plastic bag of crystal methamphetamine.

Burglary (Residential)--June 28, 3:30 p.m., Stevens Creek Boulevard. An unknown person(s) entered an apartment residence by cutting through a window screen. The person(s) took items valued at $11,350.
