Youth soccer teams to hold tryouts

Serra sign-ups

The Serra Little League will hold sign-ups for players ages 5-18 living in Sunnyvale, Cupertino and Los Altos on Jan. 6 and 13, 1-5 p.m., and Jan. 9, 6-9 p.m., at the Serra Park Recreation Room, 730 The Dalles Ave. in Sunnyvale. Girls softball

The Cupertino Girls Softball League will hold sign-ups for the 2008 season through Jan. 15. The recreational softball league is open to girls ages 6-16 and is based at Monta Vista Park in Cupertino.
