Host families
The San Jose Giants, the local Class A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, is seeking host families for players for the 2008 season that runs April 1 through Sept. 10. Host families provide a player with a room, and the Giants provide families with season tickets and parking passes for games at San Jose Municipal Stadium. The team also hosts picnics for the families and other events.

The De Anza Force 96 Blue, a boys competitive soccer team, is looking for players (born after July 31, 1996) for the coming season. Youth soccer
The De Anza Youth Soccer League is registering boys and girls in kindergarten, 1st grade and 2nd grade for its K and J Leagues and boys and girls for its under-8, under-10 and under-12 teams.
