Los Gatos Weekly-Times Colleen Wilcox Los Gatan is statewide president Colleen B. Wilcox, the superintendent of schools for Santa Clara County, was named as the 1999 president of the California County Superintendents Educational Services Association. A resident of Los Gatos, Wilcox has served as the chief administrative officer at the Santa Clara County Office of Education since 1994, overseeing services to 37 school and community college districts county-wide. She holds a doctorate from the University of Southern California and has been in education administration for more than 25 years. The CCSESA promotes quality educational practices, provides statewide public education leadership, and supports school districts in the areas of business services, curriculum and instruction.
