Los Gatos author offers tips on fighting at Borders event

Jim Creighton, a Los Gatos resident and bestselling author, will be at Borders Books, Music & Cafe in Los Gatos' Old Town on Jan. 22 at 7 p.m. to sign his latest book, How Loving Couples Fight. The book provides practical information and tools for staying together and growing closer, despite the conflicts that occur in every intimate relationship. He will also answer questions about how people can resolve conflicts in other relationships.

Creighton, who holds a doctoral degree in psychology, wrote How Loving Couples Fight in part by drawing on 30 years of experience as an independent consultant and trainer in conflict resolution, interpersonal communications and collaborative problem-solving. His 32 years of marriage to wife Maggie also served as fodder in the form of ideas and real-life anecdotes. Creighton co-authored CyberMeeting: How to Link People and Technology in your Organization, and the international bestseller, Getting Well Again. He has appeared on more than 100 radio and TV shows.

There is no charge to attend the event. For more information, call 395-7887.
