Police took a report at the site of a collision between a recycling truck and a car. Dog disturbance--Jan. 9, 7:24 a.m., on Jones Road. The caller complained of an ongoing problem regarding a neighbor's two dogs who run loose and bark. Police contacted and counseled the dogs' owner. Party-crashing disturbance--Jan. 9, 11:20 p.m., on Vineyard Court. Several uninvited guests showed up at the caller's party, refused to leave and started throwing things in the swimming pool. They left as police arrived. Possible prowler--Jan. 9, 11:26 p.m. on Johnson Avenue. The caller, who was upstairs in her house, thought she heard footsteps coming from somewhere downstairs. Police discovered animals loose in the garage. Driving under the influence--Jan. 10, 2:26 a.m., at Elm Street and University Avenue. Following a traffic stop, police arrested a man for DUI. Auto burglary--Jan. 10, 1:11 p.m., on N. Santa Cruz Avenue. Someone entered the caller's pickup truck and stole a jacket, an item of jewelry and cash. Police took a report. Noise disturbance--Jan. 11, 11:09 p.m., on Grays Lane. Two skateboarders were making a lot of noise in an underground parking lot. Police counseled them and sent them on their way. Disturbance--Jan. 15, 1:42 a.m., on N. Santa Cruz Avenue. A man who was kicked out of a bar would not leave and tried to start a fight. He later got into a fight, then left. Police located him and arrested him for public drunkenness, disturbing the peace and causing corporal injury to another.
