Arlys and Yvonne Hanson of Sterling, Colo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Kirsten Hanson, to John Chiala, son of Johnny and Donna Chiala of Los Gatos.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Sterling High School and Colorado State University. She is a news producer for WPBF-TV in West Palm Beach, Fla.
Her fiancé is a graduate of Los Gatos High School and Colorado State University. He is a photojournalist with WPEC-TV in West Palm Beach.
The couple plan a June wedding and will reside in West Palm Beach.
