Police Report

Grand Theft--Jan. 25, 6:55 p.m., on Los Gatos Boulevard. An unknown suspect took a carburetor from an auto parts store.

Petty Theft--Jan. 25, 6:06 p.m., on High Street. A resident reported that an unknown suspect took her gardening tools out of her open carport.

Sick Animal--Jan. 25, 3:03 p.m., on Highland Terrace. A resident reported that a sick, drooling deer was lying on the walk near her garage entrance.

Petty Theft-- Jan. 25, 1:09 p.m., on Union Avenue. A man reported that his handbag was taken from his shopping cart at a grocery store.

Vandalism--Jan. 25, 8:17 a.m., on La Montagne Court. An unknown suspect hit a resident's mailbox with a car sometime during the night.

Vandalism--Jan. 25, 7:50 a.m., on High School Court. Someone broke a window in the library. Beer bottles were also found on the floor inside the school library.

Grand Theft--Jan. 24, 10:08 p.m., on Birchwood Court. A woman called to report that her daughter had stolen her $7,000 mink coat. The coat was later found in the woman's closet.

Dumping--Jan. 23, 12:11 p.m., on Camino Del Cerro. A resident reported that someone dumped two truckloads of garden waste onto his property. He has an idea of who is doing the dumping.

Annoyance--Jan. 22, 10:37 p.m., on N. Creek Terrace. Unknown suspects were aiming their laser lights at cars from a bridge near Lark Avenue.

Vandalism--Jan. 22, 1:58 p.m., on Woodland Avenue. A mailbox was tampered with during the night by an unknown suspect. Nothing was taken.

Auto Burglary--Jan. 22, 9:42 a.m., on Mary Way. An unknown subject broke the window of a resident's car that was parked on the street. Cassette tapes and other items were taken.

Motorcycle Theft--Jan. 22, 10:15 a.m., on Oka Road. A motorcycle was taken sometime during the night. The owner told police he had just taken it out of storage after three years, and the motorcycle was not registered.

Vandalism--Jan. 22, 7:51 a.m., on High School Court. A window in the music room of a school was broken.

Petty Theft--Jan. 21, 1:43 p.m., on Los Gatos Boulevard. A man's wallet was taken while he was working out at a fitness club.

Battery--Jan. 21, 11:20 p.m., on Los Gatos Boulevard. A female customer refused to leave a tavern. A fight broke out between two women. One was injured, and the other was arrested.

Petty Theft--Jan. 20, 8:17 a.m., on Winchester Boulevard. Pallets were taken from the rear of a fire station. The firefighters got their pallets back and got the suspect's license number.
