Los Gatos Weekly-Times Sports Briefs Valentine Run The annual Valentine 10K fun run and 5K walk returns to Campbell on Feb. 13, 9 a.m. The event begins at Water Tower Plaza, First Street and Orchard City Drive in downtown Campbell, and costs $15 per entrant. Coaches needed The Los Gatos United Soccer League is looking for coaches in the Class 1 (select) and Class 3 (comp) divisions for the 1999 season. All-Comers Meets Los Gatos will host a series of all-comers track and field meets on Saturdays, 12:30 p.m., through Feb. 27. Baseball Tryouts The Los Gatos Pony-Colt baseball league will hold mandatory tryouts for all Pony players Feb. 6 at Fisher Middle School. WVC program West Valley Community College pitching coach Burch Boehner is presenting a winter pitching program Wednesday evenings through March 10, in the West Valley gym in Saratoga. Players ages 9-10 attend at 7 p.m., and players ages 11-12 attend at 8 p.m. Preseason arm conditioning, pitching fundamentals, arm care and defensive skills will be covered in the program.
