    'Guys' seek 'Dolls'

Alta Vista Elementary School students (from left): Ryan Stillwell, Connor Story-Yetto, Michael Homer and Shawn Tabrizi rehearse for the school's spring musical, 'Guys and Dolls Jr.'--a kid-friendly version of the Broadway classic 'Guys and Dolls.' The performance is double-cast: the Feb. 7 night and Feb. 9 afternoon shows feature the Downtown cast; the Feb. 8 night show features the Uptown cast. An additional show later on Feb. 9 stars some of Alta Vista's talented teachers and parents and school Principal Barbara Dabel. The musical is a major fundraiser for the Alta Vista Drama Group. All tickets are $8. The school is at 200 Blossom Valley Drive in Los Gatos. For show times or additional information, call 408.356.6146.
