The sparse artwork and peaceful atmosphere around Lisa Miller's studio belies the body of work she's created, and the enormous project she's working on now. Over the last nine years Miller's projects have confronted such issues as the Republicans' stand on traditional family values and Japan's male-dominated culture. One project called into question whether or not the human species can survive its own cruelty. Her new exhibit at the Triton Museum, entitiled "Harvesting Profit," is about the transformation of Santa Clara Valley from fruit orchards to high-tech firms.
