Obscene phone calls--Jan. 25, 11:42 a.m. on Los Gatos Boulevard. A business reported receiving an obscene call and hang-up calls in the past. Police gave advice.
Citizen assist--Jan. 25, 3:35 p.m. on Los Gatos-Almaden Road. A woman locked her children in the car and needed assistance getting them out. Police transferred the call to the Central Fire District, which responded.
Burglary--Jan. 25, 5:43 p.m. on Albert Drive. Computer parts and cash were taken from a residence during the afternoon via an unknown mode of entry. Police took a report.
Disturbance--Jan. 25, 10:56 p.m. on Placer Oaks Road. A passenger and taxi driver were arguing over the fare. Police counseled them and they reached an agreement.
Disturbance--Jan. 26, 1:29 p.m. on Farley Road. A landlord and tenant were arguing over the storage of items on the property. Police counseled both parties and the dispute was resolved.
Patrol checks--Jan. 26, 3:20 p.m. on Kavin Lane. A caller reported that a white vehicle with tinted windows had been cruising the neighborhood around 6 a.m. every morning; the driver often looks at the caller's house and has noticed her looking at him. Police told the caller to notify them when the vehicle returns.
Suspicious person--Jan. 26, 8:51 p.m. on Los Gatos-Saratoga Road. A thin man in his 30s in a white sweater was soliciting people for monetary contributions. Police counseled him and sent him on his way.
Shots fired--Jan. 27, 12:24 a.m. at Union Avenue and Thomas Drive. Several residents reported hearing four shots fired, perhaps in the vicinity of a bar. Police walked through the area and found everything quiet.
Burglary--Jan. 28, 2:50 p.m. on Kennedy Road. Power tools and two bicycles were taken from an unlocked garage. Police took a report.
Reckless driving--Jan. 29, 1 a.m. at Central Avenue and Oak Hill Way. Someone in a white car was driving recklessly up and down several residential streets, but was gone when police arrived.
Suspicious person--Jan. 30, 11:20 p.m. on S. Santa Cruz Avenue. A caller reported seeing a transient sleeping under the counter in the post office foyer. Police sent him on his way.
