When the Town Council gave permission for Anderson Chevrolet to build a truck store at Shannon Road and Los Gatos Boulevard, there was a condition: make it look better. Council members didn't like the flat-roofed, commercial look of the sales building Anderson proposed. They asked the dealership to bring the Planning Commission drawings of something with a pitched roof that would fit in with neighborhood houses. The dealership produced this drawing, pitched roof and all, and got Planning Commission approval Jan. 8. Anderson plans to tear down the old structure on the property that more than seven years ago was a Dodge dealership.
