Local photographer Stacy Geiken hits the backroads

American Cancer Society Daffodil Days campaign

    Topic is healing attitudes

The First Church of Christ, Scientist, invites the community to a presentation by Jill Gooding on March 2 at 8 p.m. at the church at 238 E. Main St. In her talk, "Healing Attitudes at the Turn of the Century," she will address questions about life as the end of the century approaches.

According to Gooding, preoccupation with "self" is a major issue facing society and brings many problems. They are not without solutions, however, and she will discuss the Christian Science outlook on them.

Gooding, who has written many magazine articles on Christian healing as well as poems and essays, is a Christian Science healer, teacher and lecturer worldwide. She and her husband, who have two grown children, live in England.

For more information about the program, call 354-3844.
