Her fiancé is a graduate of Los Gatos High School and is a licensed contractor working in Santa Clara and Santa Cruz counties.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of El Dorado High School and California State University, Sacramento. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in community development at UC-Davis. She is employed by Sacramento Children's Home.
Her fiancé is a graduate of Los Gatos High School and California State University, Sacramento. He is a social studies teacher and basketball coach at Valley High School in S. Sacramento.
