Back on the Trail
Los Gatans Christopher Ferrari and Tina Pierre walked their dog Sherman on the Los Gatos Creek Trail on Feb. 9, a day after the portion just south of Main Street reopened. The trail had been closed since October 2001 for a pipeline replacement and other improvements. The San Jose Water Company had expected to reopen the trail on March 1, but work was completed ahead of schedule. Additional construction will occur in fall 2002, when a portion of the trail will be closed again for several months.
