The Magnolia Jazz Band and the Li'l Big Band will be the featured entertainers at the second annual Mardi Gras party at Villa Montalvo Center for the Arts.
A caricaturist, a numerologist and a handwriting analyst will also be on hand for the Feb. 24 event. The menu will feature Cajun and Creole dishes.
While costumes are "admired, not required," the organizational committee expects some guests to show up wearing traditional Mardi Gras masks and beads and "New Orleans river boat" fashions.
The party starts with cocktails at 6:30 p.m. at Villa Montalvo, 15400 Montalvo Road, Saratoga. Tickets are $75 per person.
