Los Gatos High School's 1995 Wildcat yearbook recently received three first-place awards in nationwide high-school yearbook critique competitions. Co-edited by Alicia Felix and Paul Suh, under the advisement of Kathleen Maunder, last year's Wildcat was named a gold medalist and all-Columbian winner for concept by the Columbia Scholastic Press Association. It also received first-class recognition with two marks of distinction for coverage and concept by the National Scholastic Press Association and first place with special merit for outstanding sports coverage by the American Scholastic Press Association.

Fisher Middle School recently received a donation of 10 one-gigabyte internal hard disk drives from the Fujitsu Corp. of America. The drives, valued at approximately $3,000, will be connected to the computers in the Fisher Learning Arcade, where many of the current drives are overburdened or too small for the amount of daily use they receive by students.
