Community Against Substance Abuse presents the forum, "Fact or Fiction? What is the Drug Scene for Los Gatos Teens?" on March 2 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Los Gatos Neighborhood Center, 208 E. Main St.
A panel of experts will answer questions about the the use of drugs and alcohol in the community. Parents and community members are invited to ask questions. Among the topics to be addressed are what schools are doing to keep our children safe and what happens when a child gets involved with the police or probation department.
Panel members are Alan Sherer, executive director of Triad Community Services; Kathleen Eaton, Los Gatos High School assistant principal of discipline; Karen Cox, assistant principal at Fisher Middle School; Randy Bishop, Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police Department Juvenile Officer; and Katie Boyd, Santa Clara County Probation officer.
