Commercial Burglary--Feb. 15, 2:15 a.m., on Albright Way. Reportee said someone broke in through an adjacent business. Nothing appears to be taken.
Threats--Feb. 15, 2:05 a.m., on Ferris Avenue. A 53-year-old man threatened to kill his roommate. Police advised the roommates.
Vandalism--Feb. 14, 9:43 p.m., on Worcester Loop. A housesitter heard an unknown suspect throwing bottles at the house. No one was seen in the area.
Embezzlement--Feb. 14, 2:44 p.m., on N. Santa Cruz Avenue. An employer suspects an employee of taking property over the past month. Five sweaters have been taken within the last two days, and the possible suspect was working that day.
Domestic Violence--Feb. 13, 10:09 p.m., on Los Gatos Boulevard. Dispatchers received a 911 call in which nothing was said. However, they could hear a woman crying in the background. They then heard the woman's husband bite her. The husband also threatened his wife with a knife but it was not known if he actually had one. Police arrested him.
Fake Gun--Feb. 13, 8:21 p.m., on University Avenue. The caller chased four teens from a construction site. A passerby stated that one of the teenagers had a gun. Police confiscated the fake gun which was later picked up by the teenager's parent.
Vandalism--Feb. 13, 4:39 a.m., on Union Avenue. A large rock thrown by an unknown suspect damaged a car windshield.
Annoyance--Feb. 13, 2:06 a.m., on N. Santa Cruz Avenue. Caller reported that several men were annoying females leaving a bar.
Disturbance--Feb. 12, 10:01 p.m., on Carlton Avenue. Several juveniles pounded on a homeowner's door and shouted obscenities. The resident was unable to get a description of the juveniles because of poor lighting.
Strange Animals--Feb. 12, 1:34 p.m., on Westhill Drive. Caller advised police that there were three "exotic" type birds running back and forth across the street.
Grand Theft--Feb. 12, 12:15 p.m., on N. Santa Cruz Avenue. Approximately $1,500 of merchandise was taken from a store. The shop owner has some idea of who the two possible suspects are.
Disturbance--Feb. 12, 11:43 a.m., on High School Court. A school reported that a 15-year-old was "out of control" and swearing at his teacher. The student refuses to listen to anyone.
Shoplifter--Feb. 11, 6:38 p.m., on Union Avenue. A 16-year-old boy stole some beer off a shelf at a grocery store. He was found drinking it in the store's bathroom and was taken into custody. Police cited and released him.
Grand Theft--Feb. 11, 6:36 p.m., on N. Santa Cruz Avenue. A known suspect stole two checks from the caller and cashed them at a local bank for $2,700.
Vandalism--Feb. 11, 5:51 p.m., on Blythswood Drive. A neighbor used a sledgehammer to smash a 3-foot-by-10-foot rock wall worth $9,000 on the caller's property.
Vandalism--Feb. 11, 10:26 a.m., on Lora Drive. An unknown suspect broke three boards on a fence and left trash on the reportee's property.
