The local Sisters of the Holy Names convent and its Marie Rose Guild stage Bagels, Baskets and Bunnies, their annual spring benefit, March 8-9 in Hoffmann Hall at St. Mary's Church, 219 Bean Ave.
The guild was formed more than 40 years ago to assist the 129-year-old Sisters of the Holy Names in its charitable and educational work. The guild's particular focus is on helping with fundraising, including this benefit. The gift sale features traditional Easter-themed gift baskets and bunnies, as well as gifts for other occasions such as weddings, anniversaries and birthdays. Many items are handmade by the nuns or guild members.
Door prizes and complimentary coffee and bagels with cream cheese and jelly will be available.
The hours are noon to 6:30 p.m. on March 8 and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on March 9. For more information, call 395-2868.
